The other day, 26-year old Danica Patrick became the first woman to win an IndyCar race. The race was the Indy 300 in Montegi, Japan held on April 20. Although it was a long time coming, it's pretty cool that it finally happened. It sucks that some journalists are starting a controversy that her win was mainly due to her lower body weight of 100 pounds. Yea right. It's even better that she won due to various sexist comments that other drivers made over the last few years. I hope there are a lot more wins in her future. Cheers for breaking down boundaries.
