I just noticed that UCSD Extension offers a Data Mining Certificate. A nice bonus is that every class can be taken online. I'm contemplating going through the program, which only consists of 5 or 6 classes. It'd be nice to get some formal education in data mining techniques and learning is never a bad thing. Seems like a quick and easy win.
